One of the most fun parts about planning your wedding is looking through wedding magazines, books and catalogues for ideas about what will make your day best reflect who you are as a couple.
Keeping track of all those ideas, however, can start to get a little crazy after a while, so it can be really helpful to create a way to organize everything you’ve found. If you’re using magazines and books, you’ll need a physical organization system as well.
The easiest thing to do is to designate colors for certain categories of inspiration. In a wedding magazine, you’ve got everything in one spot, so, when you’re looking back through, you’ll want to be able to tell, at a glance, which page has the beautiful cake and which page has the gorgeous dress. The solution is simple: just pick a color of flag or tab for every category of inspiration you’re looking at – yellow for cakes, blue for dresses, green for flowers and red for hair and makeup, for example.
